Alien: Isolation Survivor Mode Revealed, Season Pass Detailed

First revealed at E3 this year, SEGA has confirmed Survivor Mode for Alien: Isolation, which places you one-on-one against against “the universe’s deadliest killer” inside the Sevastopol Station. The description continues: “With limited resources on each map and a hunter on the loose, players will need to take advantage of every item they find to help them complete a unique set of objectives which will ultimately lead to their escape.”

With Survivor Mode, a demo featuring the Basement map will be included inside Alien: Isolation, and beginning on October 28, SEGA will release the first of five add-on packs, with all packs scheduled to release by March 2015. Each pack will include a new playable character, a mix of new maps, and new game modes.

If you want to save some money, there will be an Alien: Isolation Season Pass to save you up to 25% over buying all the Survivor Mode packs separately.

Creative Lead Al Hope talked about Survivor Mode:

At this year’s E3 and a number of subsequent events, we put the Survivor Mode demo into the hands of the world’s press and consumers and the reception was incredible. This is the game in its purest form; it’s you against the creature and it’s against the clock. It was just fantastic watching players leave the demo with a strange mix of joy, terror and relief at simply surviving, before jumping back in and try to tackle it in a different way to beat their time!

Alien: Isolation will be released on October 7 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
