Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Campaign to be “Longer Than the Last Few”

While many people skip past the single-player campaign in a Call of Duty game, those of you who do decide to check out the Kevin Spacey and Troy Baker infused story of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare can expect a lengthier journey than previous years.

Over on Twitter, Sledgehammer Games Co-Founder Glen Schofield was asked how long the campaign in Advanced Warfare was, and he replied, “Coming in longer than the last few.”

According to How Long to Beat, the campaign of Call of Duty: Ghosts lasted about five-and-a-half hours, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 seven hours, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 six hours, so expect Advanced Warfare’s campaign to last longer than seven hours.

Also on Twitter, Schofield defended the newly announced Exo Survival mode in Advanced Warfare, responding to Modern Warfare 3 co-op survival mode comparisons by saying:

Guys, Exo Survival is so much more than MW3. Give it a chance. A short clip doesn’t do it justice. It’s so much fun, quality, & it’s unique.

After someone said Schofield was being defensive, he added:

Defensive? I’m proud of this mode. It’s pure adrenaline. Fast, persistent, new Armory upgrades. Fighting mechs & crazy waves.

The final trophies for Advanced Warfare were revealed with the unveiling of Exo Survival, and you can check them out here.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released on November 4.
