While full details are still to come, Ubisoft has confirmed that, “From next week, you will be able to connect to a dedicated website to log-in and select the free game of your choice.” This offer is eligible to anyone who bought the Assassin’s Creed Unity Season Pass or Assassin’s Creed Unity Gold Edition (which includes the Season Pass), and has redeemed the Season Pass.
Noting how those who didn’t activate the Season Pass until after November 25 might experience a delay in getting recognized by Ubisoft’s system, here’s the free games you’ll be able to choose from:
- The Crew
- Far Cry 4
- Watch Dogs
- Assassin’s Creed Black Flag
- Rayman Legends
- Just Dance 2015
As Ubisoft adds, “The free game has to be on the same platform as your Assassin’s Creed Unity copy” and “the list may vary according to your country’s laws and regulations. Please contact Ubisoft’s consumer support for further details.”
To log into the site next week to claim your game, you can use your Uplay account for all platforms, while PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners can use their PSN or Xbox Live accounts. The free game will then need to be redeemed by “no later than March 15, 2015.”
If you were curious, there won’t be another Season Pass for Unity at any point, and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China will likely be available as a standalone title, with Ubisoft saying they are “exploring options” right now.
Meanwhile, Ubisoft is expecting Patch 4 in Unity to be available on December 15 for all platforms. “This patch will address issues with stability and performance as well as online matchmaking and connectivity (among other fixes and improvements),” they said.
Stay tuned for full details on the Season Pass free game redemption and Patch 4 next week.
