Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX
"...it’s worth giving your PS4 a rest and using that PS3 to get 60+ hours of Kingdom Hearts back into your life, even if it does feel a little last gen."

Far Cry 4
"Far Cry 4 is a game that will have players losing hours of their lives as they get lost in Kyrat, either by themselves or with a friend."

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor
"Fantasy fans will probably owe it to themselves to give Shadow of Mordor a shot, especially if they are fans of Tolkien’s work."

Dragon Age: Inquisition
"Despite the small issues with the horses and the lack of items players can buy from merchants, I can still safely say that Dragon Age: Inquisition is the best console RPG I have ever played."

LittleBigPlanet3
"LBP3 has aged rather well, though it has picked up a few odd notes along the way. It performs exactly like its predecessor, only improved upon. The key word here is addition."

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
"With a mission count that numbers near 50, and over 150 characters to play as (gotta catch ‘em all?), there is a ton of content to bask in. While a lot of the combat and puzzles might feel a bit repetitive, you’ll hardly notice as you mete out justice as a tiny version of your favorite hero."

The Wolf Among Us
"The Wolf Among Us actually caused me guilt as Telltale allowed me to become Bigby Wolf and to shape this character’s story. I’d regret certain hastily made decisions, wishing I’d either killed someone when I had the chance or perhaps not have gotten so upset towards someone I cared about. Each morally ambiguous decision I made left me questioning whether I was the right person to be making them, but in the end, it was MY Bigby and MY story"

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is one of the best iterations in the franchise, as it has found a way to reinvigorate its gameplay mechanics without deviating away from what has kept the series so strong over the years. Very little of the game feels lacking, as even though the story is standard fare for most military shooters, its presentation takes it quite far."

Assassin's Creed: The Americas Collection
As a compilation title, this game covers:
Assassin's Creed: Liberation (Vita)
-
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
"For a Borderlands fan, The Pre-Sequel is really a no-brainer, but don’t expect anything massively new or innovative outside of the small tweaks. Instead, enjoy a bit (read: a lot) more Borderlands until Gearbox can show us what the series will become on the new generation of consoles"

Alien Isolation
"Alien: Isolation reminds us what it means to be playing a survival horror game, with a heavy emphasis on survival."

Skylanders: Trap Team
"Even if you’re as disappointed as I am by the thin layer of gameplay added with Trap Gems, it’s hard to deny the wealth of charm, intelligence, and generation-spanning humor Trap Team manages to accomplish this year."

-
Crimes and Punishments: Sherlock Holmes
" My time as Holmes was extremely exciting, fun, and immersive, and I was impressed with how long it lasted. Every case had some new gameplay element introduced, like getting to play as Holmes’ hound Toby to follow a scent trail."

-
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution
"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will feel a bit dull for those who are looking for a heavily storied experience but it should not be overlooked simply for the fact that it isn’t a full fledged Naruto story. What it lacks in story it makes up for in frenetic 4-player combat and a whole slew of modes and features to keep you busy."

Destiny
"While it is not the story, there is a certain pull to Destiny that keeps me coming back for more. Bungie have created something special that I think we will see continue to bloom in their persistent support of the game."

Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare
"It is an amazingly fast, fun, and deep title, and with persistent support going forward, I can only see Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare continuing to get better for the community."

Tales of Xillia 2
"It is hard to make a sequel that is worth of the original and Tales of Xillia 2 does just that. The world never feels stale and the development team shows just how much we didn’t know about each character and their inner workings."

-
Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition
"This is the best version of Diablo III, possibly anywhere. Sure, it may look better on PCs with high-end graphics cards, but you can’t beat the control scheme and accessibility of the console version."

Valiant Hearts: The Great War
" I want to tell everyone how wonderful and important the complete experience of Valiant Hearts: The Great War is so that many more people can enjoy it. "

Wolfenstein: The New Order
"Wolfenstein; The New Order is a very good game — a true gem among shooters in a sickening sea of shooters. A story that captures interest and characters that hold it until the end, gameplay that falls somewhere between Killzone, Call of Duty, and Duke Nukem, and a complete focus on the single player experience..."

South Park: The Stick of Truth
"South Park: The Stick of Truth is a great game. Not because it is South Park. Not because it is a good RPG. But because the complete package is a solid piece of work that successfully marries the source material with one of the most beloved game genres out there."

Final Fantasy X|X-2
"HD visuals aside, revisiting Final Fantasy X and X-2 is a great thing that should not be missed. "

Dark Souls 2
"It is a magical recipe of pain and frustration that seeks to make you a better player by the end, simply breaking you down step by step, until you feel like you have personally leveled up more than your digital avatar, and that is something not a lot of games can do."

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles
"The bundle is a great value, especially for those who never played either of these due to their Nintendo system releases in the States. In a year where there will be plenty of great role-playing experiences releasing, some people might be timid about spending their cash on two HD ports."

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
"Aesthetically, Lightning Returns is beautiful and you get to dress up our pink-haired hero like the most insane Japanese Barbie doll ever imagined, the music is fantastic, varied, and sweetly orchestral, but it’s not an entirely happy game."
