Assassin’s Creed Creator Patrice Desilets is Making a AAA “Historical Action-Survival” Title

A month after unveiling his new studio, Assassin’s Creed Creator Patrice Désilets told Game Informer that Panache Digital Games is working on a AAA title:

Indeed AAA Games, I believe in them. I believe wholeheartedly that this medium we call “video games” can be a positive force for change in our society and that AAA quality gaming experiences have unmatched strength to achieve this.

There’s currently no announced release window or platforms for this game, but Désilets did say it will be a third-person “historical action-survival” title.

Over on the studio’s website, their About page adds that you can expect a “narrative twist” with their game:

We make games because that’s the medium we chose, or more appropriately, it’s the medium that chose us to express ourselves. We’re a bunch of industry veterans that got together to tell stories that we feel are original and cool, and think people would like to play.

We make AAA quality third-person action-adventure games, with a narrative twist. We’re not a “me-too” company. We don’t do trendy game models or content.

We promise to deliver the very best quality experiences that our fans will enjoy.

We value stepping out of the boundaries, doing things with Panache. We value beauty, originality and fun. We value growth, in our ideas, in our minute-to-minute execution, in our teams. We value our fans and what they say, what they feel. We value dialogue throughout all productions.

The Panache Digital Games website goes on to say, “Stay tuned for more news and reveals in the weeks to come!”
