In a new preview discussion video today, IGN revealed snippets of couch co-op gameplay for Borderlands: The Handsome Collection on PlayStation 4, which you can see above.
During the video, IGN talks about the co-op, saying how it runs great in Borderlands 2, but things do slow down significantly in The Pre-Sequel when the action gets frantic. They do note that the build shown in the video isn’t final, so it may be undergoing optimizations right now to be improved for launch.
Also, because it’s still in development, the final piece of DLC for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel won’t be included on-disc and will instead be a free download after launch.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection launches for PS4 and Xbox One on March 24 in North America and March 27 in Europe.
