A representative of Bandai Namco has confirmed to Gematsu that the multiplayer elements of Godzilla will be restricted to the PlayStation 4 version of the game. Following its recent reveal of Godzilla VS for the PS4 in Japan, the company was asked to explain the difference between the Japanese and Western versions of the game.
According to a clarification provided to Gematsu, the company said that the Western version of Godzilla for the PS4 will be the same as Godzilla VS in Japan. And it is this version that will include multiplayer. Additionally, the Western PS3 version of the game will be the same as the one launched in Japan last December.
