Zenimax “Pretty Confident” Elder Scrolls Online Frame Rate Will Run at 30fps for Both PS4 and Xbox One

Like it or not, resolution and frame-rate are hot topics in this generation of gaming; and with The Elder Scrolls Online being an MMO, hoping the game will run at 60 frames-per-second might be too much of a stretch, but we can at least take comfort hat Zenimax Online is “pretty confident” the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will run at 30fps.

This tidbit was revealed by game director Matt Firor who said the following:

We’re getting close to launch now and we’re pretty confident we’ll have 30fps standard on both XB1 and PS4.

In related news, The Elder Scrolls Online for PS4 might require a whopping 60GB of disk space. You can check out gameplay of the RPG here if you’re unsure if you want to download the entire client.

Are you disappointed that TES will only run at 30fps? And are you planning to play it once it’s out in June?
