A myriad of bits of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt information have recently surfaced, including details on the loot system, PlayStation 4 and PC pre-loading, and even some new screenshots.
According to Level Designer Miles Tost, who responded to some questions on Twitter, loot found on enemies and in chests in The Witcher 3 will partially be randomized, partially be set.

Also recently, Community Manager Chris Priestly mentioned on the CD Projekt forums that the pre-load dates for the PS4 and PC versions of The Witcher 3 have not yet been confirmed, but it looks like it will be one week in advance of the May 19 release date.
We are still working with GOG, Steam, Sony, etc on pre-loads and do not have an exact date yet. I think Sid’s estimate of 1 week is safe, but it isn’t a sure thing yet.
Also on the CD Projekt forums, Community & Website Coordinator Marcin Momot explained that some PS4 footage of the upcoming RPG will be shown soon, and “it will be a few minutes of gameplay footage from the prologue.” If that wasn’t enough, CD Projekt has also released some screenshots, which you can see below.
