New Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Report Suggests Brother & Sister Protagonists, No Multiplayer

We’re less than a day away until the new Assassin’s Creed – potentially titled Syndicate – is unveiled at 9am on May 12, and after a leak over the weekend suggested our main character in the game would be called Jacob Frye, Kotaku sources have reportedly revealed some more information.

According to two people familiar with the game, Syndicate will include two main characters – Jacob and Evie – who are a brother and sister pair involved in the criminal underworld of Victorian London, where the game is set. While both will be playable, a source says the story missions will focus on Jacob about 75% of the time, with 25% devoted to Evie.

Additionally, it’s said there’s no multiplayer included with Syndicate, though you’ll be able to switch between Jacob and Evie outside of missions.

Finally, a source told Kotaku to expect Assassin’s Creed Syndicate in Fall 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Stay tuned for official details from Ubisoft on the new Assassin’s Creed tomorrow, May 12.
