The Witcher 3 Update 1.07 Now Available in Europe on PS4

Released on Friday in North America and many other regions, players noticed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt update 1.07 wasn’t available in Europe, leading developer CD Projekt Red to investigate.

After a few days, they have confirmed that update 1.07 is now downloadable everywhere on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, taking up roughly 7.5GB:

You can check out the full list of patch notes over here, with the main features including an alternative movement style for Geralt, stash locations where players can store their loot, performance and stability improvements, and a ton of fixes.

However, as Digital Foundry noted shortly after release, update 1.07 caused frame-rate issues on PS4, including dips to 25fps in the marketplace, which is something they didn’t experience in update 1.05. As The Witcher Twitter account has said, “We’re investigating all the reports regarding patch 1.07 issues.”

More The Witcher 3 news is coming a little later today when CD Projekt Red announces this week’s free piece of DLC. Stay tuned for full details once they’re available.
