The Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone Is a 2-4GB Download on PS4, Requires Update 1.10

Update:

CD Projekt Red announced on their forums that there is an issue with the boxed version of Hearts of Stone at GameStop in North America:

However, it has come to our attention that, due to logistical problems, customers will be unable to obtain the physical edition of the game for several days after launch. We are working with GameStop to fix this situation as soon as possible and deeply apologize for the inconvenience.

If you don’t want to wait, you can still order the game in digital format and purchase your cards separately on www.redeemgwent.com.

Original Story:

Launching tomorrow, October 13, Hearts of Stone is the first big expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and CD Projekt Red Community Lead Marcin Momot revealed just how big the file is going to be:

There isn’t any pre-loading on Hearts of Stone “since it’s not that big. That’s why we released 1.10 earlier.”

Speaking of The Witcher 3 update 1.10, that 17GB patch is required to play Hearts of Stone.

Featuring additional Trophies/Achievements, here’s when you can expect the new expansion to unlock:

Following the release of Hearts of Stone tomorrow, CD Projekt Red will release Blood and Wine in Q1 2016. Asked if they have any plans for more expansions, Momot said, “No plans for anything besides these 2 expansions. Sorry.”

If you’re planning on buying Hearts of Stone, keep in mind that all quests will be for level 30+.
