Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Reportedly Features a New “Nightmare” Mode

It’s not unusual for rumors to pop up prior to a game’s release, so take this one with a grain of salt. Some folks have managed to get their hands on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 early, and are reporting that once the campaign is completed, a new mode called “Nightmares” is unlocked that turns the campaign into a Zombies mode.

Details are still a bit sketchy, with some stating that the single-player mode gets a Zombies makeover, and others suggesting that the location used is the same as the one in the campaign, but the mode adds new objectives and story. The following two images are being shared on various websites, but it’s unclear if they’re photoshopped or not.

Whether this is rumor is true or not remains to be seen, but just a heads-up for those who are planning to buy Black Ops 3, gameplay footage has started to leak online so you might want to watch out for spoilers.

In other Black Ops 3 news, Treyarch has announced that Avenged Sevenfold will be providing a “unique” instrumental score for the game. “Fans will be able to hear their work in Multiplayer and in the music player located in their personal bunk inside the Safe House of the Campaign,” said the developer.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be out on Friday, November 6.
