Japanese video game publisher, Agatsuma Entertainment, is shutting down due to financial troubles, according to a recent press release. The company is most known for Nintendo 3DS games, and to PlayStation gamers, as the company behind the Vita version of Sayonara UmiharaKawase+, which also released in the West this year.
We’re told that its parent company, Agatsuma Co. Ltd.’s administrative conditions took a turn for the worst, and it struggled with earning profits. In order to strengthen its position, the company made the decision to close down the gaming division.
Agatsuma Entertainment will be fully liquidated by March 31, 2016. We wish everyone the best of luck.
