Crypt of the NecroDancer Moves to PS4 & PS Vita on February 2, Won’t Be a PlayStation Plus Free Game

From Brace Yourself Games, with BlitWorks helping the PlayStation port, Crypt of the NecroDancer is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on February 2 in North America and Europe, complete with cross-buy.

Priced at $14.99, Crypt of the NecroDancer won’t be a February 2016 PlayStation Plus free game, the official Twitter account revealed.

Changing up typical 2D dungeon crawling by adding rhythm based movement and combat, NecroDancer sees you playing as Cadence as she explores each zone, picks up gear, and defeats musically motivated monsters. You’ll then be able to unlock multiple new characters who offer different modes of play.

The description adds:

Four unique zones featuring randomly generated levels offer exciting new gameplay experiences every time! Earn trophies and play our Daily Challenges to test your hard-won rhythm skills. The PS4 version of the game will also support dance pad gameplay!

You’ll also receive a new exclusive soundtrack created by Jake “Virt” Kaufman, the composer for Shovel Knight, along with all of the music in the PC version.

As Heather Wilson, Producer and Community Manager, announced, Crypt of the NecroDancer on PlayStation won’t include the custom music feature.
