Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Double Cryptokey Weekend Starts Today, Team Deathmatch Max Score to Be Tweaked

Tired of double XP in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3? Well, here’s something different, starting today, and happening all throughout Tuesday, Treyarch is switching on double cryptokeys for Black Ops 3!

Yep, that’s not a typo. It’s not a double XP or a double weapon XP weekend, but a double cryptokey weekend! Now you’ll finally — and hopefully — be able to grind for those wrench, brass knuckles and other epic camo unlocks! The Black Ops 3 double cryptokey weekend will start today, at 10 a.m. PST, and will end on Tuesday at 10 a.m. PST!

Additionally, team deathmatch fans might also notice that the cap score per match has also been increased by Treyarch from 75 to 100, However, according to Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar, this is possibly only for this weekend, and no one should be surprised if they dial it back to 75 again. I gather, they’re testing the 100 TDM score, which makes sense.

Are you looking forward to farm some cryptokeys for Black Ops 3 all throughout the weekend? Let’s hope we get more than the usual decals and normal camos. On that TDM score increase, do you think it should permanently be at 100 or will that make each match too long?
