With Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Awakening map pack now out to PlayStation 4 gamers, some might have wondered whether Treyarch will implement a separate playlist just for the new maps. Thankfully, the answer is yes.
Over on Twitter, Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar confirmed that a “bonus” playlist will be available soon that will cycle all four new maps repeatedly for a limited time. It was originally scheduled to go live this Friday, but Treyarch is implementing it ASAP.
We will probably do a time-limited BONUS playlist in case you JUST want to get familiar with new maps. That will have most popular modes.

Vonderhaar also mentioned that colorblind support has been rolled out as part of yesterday’s huge 9GB update, but it wasn’t mentioned in the notes. To turn colorblind on, go to the options menu, go to graphics and you can choose from three colorblind settings.
Menu -> Options -> Graphics -> Colorblind Mode. We somehow missed this in the patch notes but it’s a significant feature. Try out a few.
