The Division Beta Now Available for Pre-Load on PS4, Xbox One & PC

The Division open beta doesn’t start until February 19 on PlayStation 4, but Ubisoft revealed that you can already begin pre-loading the 24.3GB file by purchasing the free beta from the PlayStation Store (North America; should be up in other regions soon by searching for ‘Tom Clancy’s The Division Open Beta’).

When the beta opens on February 19 for PS4 (February 18 for Xbox One, February 19 for PC), you’ll gain access to everything that was included in the closed beta, as well as an all new story mission. By playing the beta, you’ll also receive a special in-game reward when The Division releases on March 8.

Ubisoft explained exactly what you can expect from The Division beta, which ends on February 21:

Begin your agent’s journey solo or with up to three friends in the heart of New York. Fight to take back the streets, discover an exclusive Open Beta mission and unlock an exclusive reward for launch!

  • Reach level 8 with your agent as you make your way through New York or see how fast you can get to rank 12 in the Dark Zone
  • Gather sweet loot, unlock skills and learn how to use your abilities solo or in a team as you build your character up
  • Go deep in the Dark Zone, the PvP enabled area of the game and try to survive as you extract your hard-earned loot
  • Co-operation or betrayal? Your choice, but be warned: communication is key in the Dark Zone

If you already have the closed beta file, it should only require an update before you’re ready for the open beta.

You can learn more about the open beta and pre-loading on PS4, Xbox One, and PC by heading to The Division’s website.

Additionally, the PlayStation Store revealed that The Division Season Pass is $39.99 USD.

Will you be playing the open beta this weekend?
