Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Double XP Weekend for Cryptokeys & Liquid Divinium Starts Today

Beginning at 10am PT/1pm ET today, Activision and Treyarch will be hosting a double Cryptokey and double Liquid Divinium weekend in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The event will then end on Monday, April 11, at 10am PT/1pm ET.

Cryptokeys are an in-game currency in Black Ops 3 used to buy Supply Drops from the Black Market, which is only available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

As for Liquid Divinium, vials of it are earned by playing Zombies and used to created Mega Gobblegums. “Mega Gobblegums deliver even more devastating anti-zombie effects in game,” Activision says. “Once you chew a Mega Gobblegum in game, it’s gone until you create another one from the vats.”

Earlier this week, Treyarch Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar detailed some changes they made to the game:

59.20.26.7.0 – behind the scenes script fixes, ZM exploits, and fixed issue where earned Prestige Calling Cards would not appear.

He also noted that they’re aware of a bug where a Shadowclaw fired anywhere on the map sounds as if it’s right next to you.

Update: The new Black Ops 3 hotfix today includes the following: “59.21.30.7.0 – 2x Crypto & Liquid Div.. Fix for [Shadowclaw] audio issues. Behind the scenes script fixes for Streaks/Challenges/Taunts.”

If you’re a Season Pass owner, you can now download a Skyjacked dynamic theme:

The next DLC pack for Black Ops 3, Eclipse, launches on April 19 for PS4.
