Scheduled for release in fall 2016 in North America and Europe, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization will cost $59.99 USD on PlayStation 4 and $39.99 USD on PlayStation Vita, Bandai Namco announced today. The PS4 version will be available through retail and digital stores, while the PS Vita version is digital-only.
Only announced for North America so far, the Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Collector’s Edition is $149.99 USD and contains the following items:
- Exclusive 6” Kirito and Asuna figurines
- SteelBook case
- Game software
- Soundtrack
- Blu-ray disc
- Set of mini-posters
- Decal sheets
- Art book
Each Collector’s Edition will be individually numbered.

“Link start” into SWORD ART ONLINE –Hollow Realization–, an exciting new action RPG developed under the watchful eye of SWORD ART ONLINE creator Reki Kawahara. Kirito receives a single mysterious message – a cryptic “I’m back to Aincrad” – and is drawn once again into a familiar world in which he was once trapped. Kirito and his friends are pulled into a VRMMORPG called Sword Art: Origin, a game housed on the same servers that hosted the death-game Sword Art Online. However this game is not quite the same one he escaped years ago…
