Previously released on PC and Xbox One, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is “coming soon” to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro, NeocoreGames announced today. A release window wasn’t given for the PS4 version, and a price is TBA.
With the PS4 port of Van Helsing, you’ll find full DualShock 4 support, high-res graphics, and a Platinum Trophy. If you play Van Helsing on the upcoming PS4 Pro, you’ll find a “significantly higher resolution” and “an even smoother frame rate.”
Confirming that the PS4 version will include co-op and PvP multiplayer, here’s what else Neocore said about the game:
Enjoy your trip to the magnificently weird Borgovia using your DualShock 4 controller, as you assume the role of young Van Helsing and his lovely, witty ghost companion Lady Katarina! It’s an intense Action-RPG inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Slavic folklore, weird fiction and Hungarian architecture, and it will bring you monstrosities created by weird science (and some delightful humor with twists on the tropes of the genre).
A witty, action-packed Gothic-steampunk adventure awaits, where you fend off hordes of monsters, loot countless treasures, explore terrifying woods, dark cityscapes and the mysterious Ink, and the game also has a neat leveling system, many skills and items, and a tower defense minigame – practically everything you might need from an Action-RPG. It will have a solid single-player campaign and multiplayer as well.
Asked on Twitter if this is the first installment or the Final Cut version, Neocore replied, “First. All three will come out eventually.”
