Japanese Sales Chart: After Three Years, PS4 Has Sold 4.4 Million Units

Released on February 22, 2014, the PlayStation 4 has sold just over 4.4 million units in Japan in the last three years, Media Create data shows. Nearly 186,000 of those sales came from PS4 Pro, while the rest is from the launch/slimmer models. For comparison, PS Vita is at 5.54 million lifetime and PS3 is at 10.54 million lifetime.

Although there were five new games to appear in the top 20 last week, only one – For Honor – made much of an impact, debuting in first place with 40,000 copies sold. Last week’s #1 title, Nioh, fell to second place, but lifetime sales are now over 100,000.

According to Media Create, here’s the 20 best-selling retail games, along with how each system sold in Japan from February 13 to 19, 2017:
