Dead End Job Is a New Ghost Capturing Roguelike From Ant Workshop

Ant Workshop, the creator of PlayStation 4 puzzle platformer Binaries, has just announced their latest title called Dead End Job, which combines roguelike shooter gameplay and ‘90s cartoon stylings.

In Dead End Job, players take on the role of a worker at Ghoul-B-Gone, a paranormal pest control company, which tasks players with doing several jobs including capturing ghosts and rescuing citizens from said ghosts, among others.

Completing jobs earns money and the more money the player earns within an in-game week betters their chances of grabbing a coveted “Employee of the Week” award. The game also features integration with Twitch that allows viewers to either make things easier or harder for the player by letting them choose the character’s powerups.

The trailer for the game shows off its colorful ‘90s cartoon-inspired visuals as well as a bit of its top-down, twin-stick shooter gameplay and procedurally generated levels.

Dead End Job is scheduled to come out sometime in February of 2018 for the PS4 and other platforms.
