It looks like the long-rumored standalone version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered for PlayStation 4 is releasing on June 27 for $39.99 USD.

According to images and information sent to Charlie Intel, Walmart is already putting up $39.99 stickers for Modern Warfare Remastered in their stores. Additionally, a tipster said it’s coming out on June 27 and sent over the box art, which shows that it “requires internet,” needs 60GB of space, is PS4 Pro enhanced, and the online modes require a mandatory update. However, the box art doesn’t say if the Variety Map Pack is included.

If this latest report does hold true, expect the Xbox One/PC versions of Modern Warfare Remastered to launch 30 days after PS4.

It’s worth pointing out that the official Modern Warfare Remastered FAQ still says, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is only available through the Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.”

If/when Activision confirms the standalone release of MWR, we’ll let you know.
