PlayStation 4 owners can now take advantage of a fantastic promotion that Sony is currently doing. This week’s Totally Digital sale features dozens of games, from indie hits to retail titles, that are significantly lower in price than they normally are. There’s also the Rockstar and Square Enix publisher sales, so it really is a buyer’s delight. Some games are 80% off, so it’s time to finally pick up some games that were on your wishlist.
Since there are a ton of different games on offer, we wanted to make it easier to find some of the best sales. That’s why we’ve put together a list of 10 PS4 games that you should purchase during this week’s PlayStation Store sales. We’ve listed the price, linked to our review of each title (so you can learn even more about these fantastic games before you fork over your hard-earned money), and tell you why it’s worth checking out right now.
While we only highlighted 10 great games, there are over 40 titles currently discounted due to this week’s Totally Digital sale. So, definitely take some time to browse them all, as there are plenty of other worthwhile games that have their price cut. So, this isn’t an all-comprehensive list, just a few recommendations of some of the better deals. It’s also worth noting that there are some great PlayStation 3 and Vita titles also on sale, so anyone who wants to build their backlog can definitely do so!

Price: $8.99
Why: One of Rockstar's best games can now be played on PlayStation 4. Its regular $14.99 price point might be a bit much for folks, but it's much more tempting at 40% off. Those that haven't played it should definitely play this classic.

Why: One of the coolest rhythm games released in recent years, Crypt of the NecroDancer is a hybrid between a dungeon crawler roguelike and a music title. There’s really nothing else like it, and you can’t beat the price of 80% off.

Enter the Dungeon
Price: $8.99
Why: There are dozens of twin-stick shooters on PS4, but Enter the Gungeon is easily one of the best. The roguelike features fantastic boss fights, an adorable aesthetic that has bullet-shaped enemies shooting bullets at the player, and has been updated several times since launch with new content.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy
Price: $17.49
Why: For less than $20 you can get three of the most influential PlayStation 2 games ever made. Plus, you get Vice City, which is easily the best Grand Theft Auto game.

Hitman Episodes
Price: $3.99 per episode
Why: A lot of people foolishly missed Hitman due to its episodic release, but now those that did can catch up at a very reasonable price. Episodes are less than four dollars a pop, and each one features hours of content and humorous violence.

The Jackbox Party Pack
Price: $32.99
Why: This collection includes the first three games in the Jackbox Party series, and at 45% off it’s hard not to recommend. Each pack features several hilarious party games ranging from You Don’t Know Jack to Fibbage and are played by anything that can connect to a website (from phones to laptops).

Life is Strange
Price: $4.99
Why: One of the greatest episodic games ever made is available for less than five dollars. Buy this game, and learn why everyone is so excited for its upcoming sequel (and I guess the prequel as well).

Magicka 2
Price: $3.74
Why: Those looking for a fun cooperative campaign to play online with friends will have a blast with Magicka 2. Paradox Interactive’s spellcasting shooter is challenging, requires players to work together, and can be a blast with the right group.

Overcooked
Price: $8.49
Why: One of the best local multiplayer games ever created, Overcooked will provide hours of hilarious fun while players try to work together in order to fulfill food orders. At 50% off, this is a great time to jump into the stellar game.

Rainbow Moon
Price: $2.99
Why: This is easily the deal that gives players the most bang for their buck. At 80% off Eastasiasoft’s RPG is an absolute steal. Rainbow Moon is a fantastic tactical role-playing game with a really satisfying story. The only downside is the grinding, but for $2.99 it really can’t be beat.
