Bubsy Isn’t a Fan of Trick or Treaters in Newest Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back Trailer

Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back is less than a week away from release, and what better way to celebrate that than with a special Halloween trailer. In the trailer (below), Bubsy gets a special visit from a kid dressed as a certain video game character before cutting into a short gameplay video of the game.

The entire marketing strategy behind the upcoming Bubsy game seems to be playing off of the characters nonchalant attitude, and this trailer doesn’t seem to change that at all. Although it’s a brief moment, it’s still pretty comical, and if the game is even half as funny as this short trailer, fans should be in for a treat when the game launches on October 31.

Here’s a quick description for the new Bubsy title:

Our favorite Bobcat is making a triumphant return 20 years after virtually disappearing from the world stage (N64/PS1). Yes, that’s right, Bubsy is back and starring in an all new adventure, Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back! Yep, those no good, yarn stealing always annoying intergalactic trolls, the Woolies, are up to their no good ways once again! They’ve stolen Bubsy’s most prized possession, the Golden Fleece. Now Bubsy is on a one Bobcat mission taking on Woolies, Bumble Bees, Sharks, and UFO’s [sic] to collect an insane amount of yarnballs and bring his Holy Grail of Wool home.

Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back will release October 31 on PlayStation 4 and PC.
