Bandai Namco has published a new trailer for their upcoming Kamen Rider game, Kamen Rider Climax Heroes, which provides a lot of new information about the game with a duration of about six minutes long.
Kamen Rider Climax Heroes is a 3D battle action game where you play as one of the Kamen Rider heroes. Other than using battle skills, players will also need to make good use of field terrains to gain an advantage on their opponents. There is also an Evolution gauge for each Rider, which if filled, will allow them to transform into their ultimate forms with the Evolution Burst feature.
As versus is the main aspect of this game, Kamen Rider Climax Heroes will have online ranked matches in 1-vs-1 and 2-vs-2 formats. Players can also have party battles offline in Free Match mode, which has more formats available like 1-vs-3 and Battle Royal.
This trailer also confirms that eight secondary Kamen Riders are also going to be added to the playable roster, although all of them come from the later Heisei series, starting from Kamen Rider W and not including the most current show Kamen Rider Build as of yet. The newly confirmed playable Kamen Riders are as following:
- Kamen Rider Brave, from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid
- Kamen Rider Meteor, from Kamen Rider Fourze
- Kamen Rider Mach, from Kamen Rider Drive
- Kamen Rider Beast, from Kamen Rider Wizard
- Kamen Rider Accel, from Kamen Rider W
- Kamen Rider Specter, from Kamen Rider Ghost
- Kamen Rider Birth, from Kamen Rider OOO
- Kamen Rider Baron, from Kamen Rider Gaim
Kamen Rider Climax Fighters will be released in Asia, including Japan, exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on December 7. An English localization has also been confirmed coming to the Southeast Asian countries of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.
