Ubisoft Shutting Down Online Servers for Several PS3 Games This Weekend

Ubisoft is shutting down online services for several older titles on November 11. The publisher announced the news in September on their official forums, and said it was necessary “since it allows our IT and service staff to better focus on delivering great online experiences to the vast majority of customers who are playing newer, more popular titles.” None of the games impacted by the shutdowns have much of an active online user-base, but some major titles include Prince of Persia: The Forgotten SandsJust Dance 4, and I am Alive. The single-player portions of all titles will continue to work. Since this is the final days to play the multiplayer portion of the games, we thought it was worth a reminder.
