Mysterious One Piece PS4 Game Revealed to Be One Piece: World Seeker

Bandai Namco has been teasing a brand new One Piece video game for some time, and now we finally have a full title for the game as well as some additional information. What used to be known code-named “Dawn,” the game will be known as One Piece: World Seeker according to this week’s Jump Magazine. According to the reports from the magazine, the game will be a “dramatic, free field, action” title for the PlayStation 4.

While no other information has been released, there is an official test page up for the site now, so it shouldn’t be too long before we get more info. For now, fans of the anime and manga can rest easy knowing that Bandai Namco is working on something for One Piece fans. Of course, World Seeker isn’t the only One Piece game being developed currently, as PlayStation VR owners will be getting One Piece: Grand Cruise VR at some point as well. One Piece: Grand Cruise (PlayStation VR)

  • The game’s genre, release date, and price have yet to be announced.
  • The game’s content is also yet to be announced, but screenshots in the magazine show exploration of a ship. This is only a guess, but perhaps it is a game where you interact with your crewmates?
  • A special demo of the game will be playable by up to eight users at once at the “Tokyo One Piece Tower” event in Tokyo Tower on July 22.
  • The official website will be available here when it opens.

One Piece: World Seeker has no official release date, but make sure to stay tuned for any updates.
