Sony is Giving Free Netflix to Select PlayStation Plus Subscribers

Every now and then, Sony tosses PlayStation fans a bone in the form of a coupon, or some other little goody through its regular email blasts. Today, a particularly great freebie is starting to roll out, specifically for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

If you get the email in question, the subject line will read, “A Netflix gift for you.” Make sure to open that bad boy, because inside it is a three-month voucher for everybody’s favorite movie and TV streaming service. Even those of you who are currently Netflix subscribers can use this voucher, so it’s an especially exciting perk. It is considered a $33 value, so folks who are paying extra for 4K content will also be able to apply that, albeit being responsible for the difference.

If you didn’t get the email, you can try your luck at this link right here, where you can enter your email to test your eligibility. This gift doesn’t seem to apply to every PlayStation Plus subscriber, so good luck to everyone out there.

If you don’t currently subscribe to PlayStation Plus, it’s probably far too late for your Netflix account to benefit. However, there’s still a fine slate of free games for the month, including the season-appropriate Friday the 13th: The Game. If you’re not into that, you can check out what’s up for grabs next month, thanks to an accidental leak.
