Destroy All Humans 2 – Reprobed Heading for PS5, Leaked on PlayStation Twitter Account

Destroy All Humans 2 is getting a HD remake and it’s heading for PS5. The PlayStation Twitter account leaked the PS5 version, titled Destroy All Humans 2 – Reprobed, with a nearly two minute trailer before removing the tweet shortly afterwards. Searching the title on Google also displays a Facebook video on the PlayStation Facebook page, which is marked as “private” if you try to view it. The game is expected to get an official reveal during the THQ Nordic Showcase on September 17.

Ten years after the events of Destroy All Humans, it’s 1969 and Furon alien Crypto is still impersonating the President of the United States in a bid to enslave mankind. Seen as a threat to the Soviet Union, the KGB decides to send a message to the Furons by destroying their mothership. Crypto doesn’t take too kindly to this development and decides to take them on, as well as all of the secret agents, giant creatures, and ninja warriors that get in his way too. Along with his jetpack, Crypto has a number of upgraded weapons and mental abilities to help him, such as abduction, body snatching, and dancing to psychedelic music. All of this could be seen in the leaked trailer before it was removed, with Black Forest Games confirmed to be the developer in charge.

Destroy All Humans 2 – Reprobed was likely due to be unveiled during the THQ Nordic Showcase at 12pm PST on September 17. The event is celebrating the publisher’s 10th anniversary, but is also expected to showcase plenty of the publisher’s upcoming titles. Back in January, THQ Nordic was reported to have 61 games in development across its studios, covering licensed IPs,  established franchises, and original titles. At the time, only 21 of them had been announced.

Alongside Destroy All Humans 2 – Reprobed, it is rumored we’ll see Titan Quest 2 and a new Outcast game during the show. A recent GeForce Now leak suggests other titles the publisher may have in development include Destroy All Humans! 3 and a Wreckfest sequel, but whether or not those make an appearance remains to be seen.
