For today, January 8, 2022, Ebay is once again the best bet for US customers. Filtering by “Buy It Now” and “Newly Listed,” combined with a maximum price limit, will help users cut through the unrealistically high asking prices.

For those uninterested in EE, eBay is still the best online store for UK PS5 stock. At the time of writing, consoles are selling with a slight premium over RRP. Many of these are listed as “Refurbished” or “Used,” and so could be unwanted gifts from the holiday season. If that’s the case, they should be relatively new. However, when buying refurbished, it’s worth reaching out to the seller about the warranty status and if the PS5 has been opened up at all.
