For today, January 11, 2022, Ebay is the best place to get guaranteed US PS5 stock. As is always recommended, filtering by “Buy It Now” and “Newly Listed,” accompanied with a price limit, will help users cut through the awfully inflated scalper pricing.
However, for those here for the PS5 GameStop restock news, Twitter user @PS5restocks_etc reports that “select GameStop locations” will be selling the PlayStation 5 on January 14. An official store list will be posted ahead of time, potentially on January 13.

The BT shop is the best place to get guaranteed UK PS5 stock. However, it is limited to BT Broadband customers.
If you have a BT Broadband account, head here to check out the PS5 and PS Plus bundle for £498.99. There is also the PS5 and extra controller bundle for £508.99. At the time of writing, the PS5, extra controller, and headset bundle is also in stock for £598.98.
For those who don’t have or want BT Broadband, Ebay is the next best bet. At the time of writing, the best PS5 deals on Ebay are selling at around £50-100 above RRP. The bulk of these deals are listed as “Used” or “Refurbished.” This could be down to them being unwanted Christmas presents. If this is the case, they should be relatively new.
Do remember that, when buying refurbished, it’s worth asking the seller about the warranty status and if the PS5 has been opened up at all. If the internals have been fiddled with, there could be issues.
Search listings using “Buy It Now” and “Newly Listed” sorting to find the latest posts. Combine this with a maximum price cap to find the best deals and dodge scalpers’ inflated pricing. You can also search by location and “Collection Only,” which can sometimes result in some great deals.
