Assassin’s Creed 1 Remake Report Corroborated by More Insiders

Assassin’s Creed 1 remake rumors have been corroborated by more insiders ahead of today’s Ubisoft Forward event. Fans first suspected that Ubisoft was working on a remake or remaster of the game that kicked off its tentpole franchise back in June this year. Ubisoft released a video to mark Assassin’s Creed’s 15th anniversary, which showed a clip of the game that had been visibly upgraded. At the time, many dismissed it as fans’ wishful thinking, noting that Ubisoft had merely released a CG video celebrating the franchise, but it looks like there’s more to it than that.

Will we see Assassin’s Creed 1 remake at Ubisoft Forward today?

Last week, YouTuber j0nathan accurately leaked Assassin’s Creed Mirage following which Ubisoft confirmed the game’s existence. According to the reliable Jason Schreier, many of the details that were leaked were accurate. J0nathan claimed that Ubisoft plans to release an Assassin’s Creed 1 remake with Mirage’s Season Pass. Yesterday, another insider who goes by the Twitter handle ScriptLeaksR6, published the tweet above. This insider also leaked new artwork from Assassin’s Creed Mirage so suffice to say that they seem to have some inside knowledge.

Then, we have this…

At the moment, it’s hard to say if Ubisoft will announce Assassin’s Creed 1 remake at today’s Ubisoft Forward event or not but according to the trusty Tom Henderson, multiple Assassin’s Creed games will be shown off so there is a pretty good chance we’ll hear/see something.
