2020 PS4 Action Game Just $2.49 on PS Store Ahead of Delisting

A 2020 PS4 action game (playable on PS5) has received a final PS Store deal ahead of its permanent delisting. Transformers: Battlegrounds will be pulled from all online storefronts by the end of December 2025 due to an expiring license agreement. However, those who purchase the game can continue to play it as it’s a single-player game.

Transformers: Battlegrounds gets final PS Store deal, last chance to buy

Transformers: Battlegrounds’ standard version is 90% off on the PS Store until December 23, and can be purchased for $2.49. Unfortunately, the game’s $29.99 Complete Edition, which includes various add-ons, isn’t on sale.

That said, all DLC packs except one are currently 50% off.

Transformers: Battlegrounds comes with 34 trophies, including the Platinum trophy. The game takes about 6 to 8 hours to beat, depending on your play style.

“With Earth under invasion and MEGATRON, leader of the Decepticons close to capturing The Allspark, BUMBLEBEE and the Autobots need a new commander to help them restore peace to the universe – you,” reads an official overview. “Assemble your squad and roll out, for a turn-based tactical war that will rage from Central City to Cybertron itself.”

Several Outright Games-published titles will be removed from the PS Store by the end of this month. Alongside Transformers: Battlegrounds, the following games will be delisted: JoJo Siwa: Worldwide Party, The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem, and Blaze and the Monster Machines: Axle City Racers.
