It looks like Konami‘s next highly anticipated PS5 game is targeting a 2026 release date window, if a statement by its producer is anything to go by. Silent Hill: Townfall was announced in October 2022, and we’ve barely heard anything about it since then. But that’s set to change soon.
PS5 game Silent Hill: Townfall is a collaboration between Annapurna Interactive, Screen Burn, and Konami
Silent Hill: Townfall is a spinoff developed and co-produced by Screen Burn (formerly No Code), Annapurna Interactive, and Konami. It’s expected to be an anthology series.
Speaking to Japanese publication 4Gamer, Konami’s Motoi Okamoto, who is currently serving as Silent Hill series producer, hinted at a 2026 launch for Townfall.
“Following the release of Silent Hill 2 in October 2024, we were able to deliver Silent Hill f in September 2025, and the Silent Hill series has begun to get back on track,” Okamoto (translation via Gematsu). “Including both announced and unannounced titles, we’re aiming for a release pace of about one title per year.”
This suggests that Silent Hill: Townfall will be out by fall 2026, at the latest. However, Okamoto did caution fans against getting their hopes up, adding that he will do his best to keep that pace going.
