We’re nearly two weeks removed from the holidays, but Sony is still celebrating the festivities with the PlayStation Store‘s Holiday Sale. The promotion brings great prices to some of the best games the digital storefront has to offer. That includes this cyberpunk adventure game that was originally released in 2020.
Cloudpunk is 85% off on the PS Store
Developed by Ion Lands and published by Silver Lining Interactive, Cloudpunk is currently 85% off on the PS Store. That brings its price down to $3.74 from its usual $24.99 price tag. PS5 players who want to take advantage of this deal will want to act fast. The offer ends on January 22 at 2:59 a.m. ET.
Here is a description and trailer for Cloudpunk, giving players an idea of what to expect from the cyberpunk adventure game:
“Your name is Rania. This is your first night working for Cloudpunk, the semi-legal delivery company based in the sprawling city of Nivalis. You go everywhere, from the Marrow below to the spires that pierce the grey clouds high above before scraping the edge of the troposphere. No delivery job is too dangerous, and no one is faster than a Cloudpunk driver.”
It should be noted that both the PS4 and PS5 versions of Cloudpunk are $3.74 as part of the PS Store’s Holiday Sale. However, unlike other crossplay PlayStation games, players would have to purchase both separately if they want both versions of the game.
When Cloudpunk was originally released in 2020, it was met with average review scores. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an average score of 73 across 40 critic reviews. In our review, we gave it an 8 out of 10.
“Even when taking the game’s minor foibles into account, Cloudpunk provides a brief journey into a deceptively fascinating city in the clouds,” reads our review. “Rushing through the story means avoiding the game’s best bits, because Nicalis’ real stars are its residents.”
