It looks like Sony is teasing a 2023 PS5, PS4 adventure game’s inclusion in the upcoming PS Plus lineup. The company is expected to announce the next batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games tomorrow, January 14, and it might include The Exit 8.
Could PS5, PS4 game The Exit 8 be part of the next PS Plus lineup?
The tease comes in form of a tweet by PlayStation Japan, which can be viewed below. It’s a screenshot from The Exit 8 with the caption, “Coming,” alongside a PS Plus hashtag.
Since PS Plus Extra and Premium games will be announced tomorrow, our guess is that The Exit 8 is joining the catalog. However, it’s also a possibility that the title will join February 2026’s PS Plus Essential monthly free lineup. I’m personally leaning towards the former due to the timing of this tweet.
The Exit 8 is a short game in which players are trapped in a passageway of the Japanese metro, and have to find a way out.
PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog will be refreshed on Tuesday, January 20. On the same date, Sony will confirm the next batch of games set to depart the service.
