PS5 Adventure Game Gets Big Final Discount Ahead of Delisting

2024 PS5 Adventure Game Gets Big Discount Ahead of Delisting

A 2024 single-player PS5 / PSVR2 game has received a hefty final discount on the PS Store ahead of its scheduled delisting. Fun Train’s Tarzan VR is in the process of being removed from sale, and the developer wants to give players a chance to purchase its light-hearted adventure before it disappears for good.

PS5 / PSVR2 game Tarzan VR’s delisting scheduled for the end of January 2026

Tarzan VR is just $7.49 on the PS Store. PS Plus members can avail an additional discount and pick up the title for $6.74.

Although the PS Store states that the deal will end on February 5, Fun Train has said that players have until the end of the month to purchase Tarzan VR.

As for why the game is being delisted, Fun Train — known for making VR games — says that despite being dedicated to the medium, “the current state of the VR market makes it increasingly difficult” to renew Tarzan VR’s license. “At this stage, renewing the license for this IP is simply not commercially viable,” the developer explained, pointing towards recent industry-wide studio closures and layoffs.

A Tarzan VR game is currently also listed for PS4 / PSVR on the PS Store. However, it’s a different game that was released back in 2021 by Jungle Games Inc. As far as we know, the PS4 game is not being delisted.
