During Sony’s State of Play, Konami announced a brand new role-playing game it was developing, and from the looks of it, it might be a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
What do we know about Konami’s new RPG?
During Sony’s State of Play, Konami unveiled a litany of games it’s working on, including Rev. NOiR, an all-new RPG that is currently in development. On Konami’s site, the project is listed as being “in development for PlayStation 5,” with no notice of other platforms as of now.
Currently, mostly nothing is known about the upcoming game. The teaser trailer for Rev. NOiR hinted at some sort of calamity overtaking the world and a boy suffering from amnesia setting out on a journey to help fix it. The trailer also showed off some of the locations players can expect to visit, including lush forests, gigantic cities, and more.
“In a world shrouded in light fall, a natural phenomenon that brings death to those it touches, A lonely boy who suffers from amnesia becomes acquainted with a special girl,” reads the teaser description of the game. “Together, they set out on a journey to stop this phenomenon, Believing that the journey will save the world, and in turn, save her.”
As of now, no official release information for Rev. NOiR has been made available, although the game is also listed as being in development for the PS5 in the trailer.
