Players are reminded that two of the best new PS Plus Extra games out today have free DLC on the PS Store. February 2026’s catalog refresh is live now in most regions, so if you’re jumping into Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and/or Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, make sure to grab their free DLC packs.
Claim free DLC for PS Plus games Spider-Man 2 and Monster Hunter Stories 2
PS5 console exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 offers the Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack for free. This cosmetic add-on was originally released for $4.99, with proceeds from its sales donated to Gameheads — a video game education program for low-income youth.
The pack is now free for everyone. Here’s what it includes:
- One Peter suit.
- One Miles suit.
- 10 Photo Mode stickers.
- Two Photo Mode frames.
As for Monster Hunter Stories 2, its free Launch Starter Pack is perfect for those jumping into the game for the first time. It includes:
- Potion (10)
- Gathering Charm (3)
- Lucky Charm (3)
- Mahana Dunker (10)
Do note that you’ll need to restart Monster Hunter Stories 2 after claiming the DLC for it to appear in the game.
