A classic first-person shooter from the 1990s is getting brought into the modern day with a new PlayStation 5 port.
What classic FPS is getting a PS5 port?
Nightdive Studios has announced that SiN: Reloaded, the long-awaited remaster of the classic 1998 first-person shooter, will be launching in 2026 for PC and consoles. The new release of SiN will feature remastered visuals, modernized control schemes, and an extra mission pack when it launches. A new trailer for the game also was released, highlighting some of the big changes coming.

Originally released in 1998 and developed by Ritual Entertainment, SiN is set in a dystopian future in 2037 and follows the story of John Blade, a commander in a security force who is tasked with ridding the city of Freeport of a new recreational drug. The game has become a cult classic since its release, and was originally acquired by Nightdive Studios in 2020 to remaster.
Other features of the upcoming remaster of SiN include:
- Play the original SiN and the SiN: Wages of Sin mission pack, optimized using the KEX Engine
- Beautifully remastered graphics with HD textures and models (up to) 4K resolution at 144 FPS, anti-aliasing, and upgraded 2D screens and menu art
- Overhauled control schemes and modernized UI for gamepads and M&K
- Improved maps throughout the game
- Swap between remastered visuals and the original SiN Gold version
- Brand-new achievements
- Higher resolution Zak Belika tracks mixed/engineered by Chris Mock
- A vault filled with exclusive, behind-the-scenes material
