The 7th Guest, the interactive movie puzzle adventure game originally released in 1993, is getting a remake from Vertigo Games and developer Exkee. The cult classic is set to release sometime later this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
The game is a horror story told from the perspective of an amnesiac who must explore a haunted mansion while trying to figure out how they got there, why they’re there, and what might’ve happened in the mansion years ago.
The remake of the game will feature newly recorded volumetric video, including live-action performances with real actors. The game’s puzzles have also been redesigned, as have the environments. Check out a trailer for The 7th Guest below:
