If you’re wondering why we didn’t share the list of games leaving PS Plus in April 2026 after March’s Extra and Premium lineup went live, it’s because the PS Store‘s “Last Chance to Play” section hasn’t been updated for anyone yet. PlayStation LifeStyle is usually the first outlet to reveal the list of departures, as we follow the Japanese and Asian PS Stores, which are the first to update. But this time, you won’t find the list anywhere.
List of games leaving PS Plus Extra, Premium in April 2026 expected by next week
So, what’s happening? Long-time PS Plus Extra or Deluxe/Premium subscribers will recall that we’ve had similar instances in the past, where Sony didn’t reveal the following month’s departures promptly alongside the catalog refresh, like it typically does.
From our understanding, this happens when there’s an unusual five-week gap between the current month and the following month’s catalog updates. New games go live on the third Tuesday of each month. In April, the third Tuesday falls on the 21st, which is five weeks from today.
Sony seems to have a policy of revealing the list of games leaving PS Plus four weeks in advance, so going by this pattern, we expect April’s departures to be revealed in a week. However, this is just our educated guess. We could get the list sooner than one week, or even later.
In the meantime, check out our predictions for April’s departures.
