The first official details of one of the most anticipated PlayStation 5 remasters has been revealed, showing off what fans can expect from the upcoming PS4 change.

What PS5 remaster has gotten new details?

Shenmue III Enhanced, the upcoming remaster of the 2019 action-adventure game, has been revealed by YS Net and ININ. Alongside a brand new trailer highlighting the changes in the game, YS Net also revealed that Shenmue III Enhanced will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

Alongside the obvious changes like enhanced graphics and performance, Shenmue III Enhanced also features a 4K texture uplift, DLSS/FSR support, and a ton more. Increased NPC density also makes for a more bustling city of Niaowu, and gameplay changes include optional stamina adjustments, health restoration before fights, and more. The full list of new features coming to Shenmue III Enhanced are as follows:

  • Enhanced Graphics & Performance – Sharper textures, richer details, faster load times, and smoother gameplay.
  • 4K Texture Uplift – Refined, more detailed environments and characters.
  • DLSS/FSR Support – High-quality upscaling without sacrificing performance 
  • Increased NPC Density – The city village Niaowu feels more alive with more characters populating the streets.
  • Classic Camera Mode – An optional camera perspective inspired by Shenmue I & II, alongside the modern view.
  • Gameplay Tweaks – Optional stamina system adjustments, health restoration before fights, and reduced money barriers for smoother progression.
