PS4 and PSVR game Paranormal Activity delisted

2017 PS4 Console Exclusive Game Being Delisted After 9 Years

A 2017 PS4 console exclusive game, which is also playable with a PSVR headset, is being delisted from the PS Store after almost a decade. Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul was originally released as a VR game but was later updated to make it playable on the base PS4 without a headset.

PS4, PSVR game Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul will be delisted soon, last chance to buy

Publisher VRWERX wrote a lengthy message to players on X, revealing that Paranormal Activity is being pulled after nine “incredible” years because its licensing agreement with Paramount is coming to an end.

For the uninitiated, the game is based on the popular supernatural horror franchise that was launched in 2007.

VRWERX didn’t provide a delisting date, so all we know is that Paranormal Activity will disappear from the PS Store “soon.”

Unfortunately, the game isn’t on sale, so those who want a copy will have to fork out $29.99. If you’re in North America, you might be able to find a physical disc online.

“Armed with a battery-hungry flashlight, you find yourself exploring what appears to be a quiet, average-looking home in a woodsy neighborhood,” an official overview reads. “Before long, you discover you’re not alone as you discover the clues unraveling the horrifying mystery of what’s gone on in this house and struggle to survive the terror that hunts you.”

Paranormal Activity holds a rating of 4.05/5 stars on the PS Store based on nearly 1,500 verified votes.
