Delisted PS5 Adventure Game Makes Surprise Return to PS Store

A 2023 PS5 and PS4 adventure game that was delisted from the PS Store without a warning has quietly returned. Gylt was one of the final few games developed and published by the now-defunct studio Tequila Works. As we suspected, the game was removed because the IP was acquired by a new company following the sale of Tequila Works’ assets.

PS5, PS4 adventure game Gylt returns to PS Store with a new publisher

Gylt is now published by Parallel Circles Ltd. Not much is known about Parallel Circles, but a quick search reveals that it’s a small studio operating out of the U.K. and Spain. The official website states that it’s “composed by ex-AAA developers.”

Interestingly, Parallel Circles lists Gylt in its “collaborations” portfolio alongside games like Laika: Aged Through Blood. The company apparently helped to port Gylt to consoles back in 2023. It’s unclear if Parallel Circles is the new IP owner.

Going back to Gylt, the PS5 and PS4 game can now be purchased for $19.99.

“Set in a creepy and melancholic world, Gylt is an eerie story mixing fantasy and reality in a surrealist place where your nightmares become reality,” an official overview reads. “Hide from terrible creatures or confront them as you find your way through the challenges of this wicked world.”
