Another day, another PS5 game comes to the PlayStation Store. The latest game on the digital storefront is Kiln, a party game developed under Xbox Game Studios’ umbrella.
What is Kiln?
Developed by Double Fine Productions and published by Xbox Game Studios, Kiln is an online multiplayer party brawler where players craft their own pot using a pottery wheel and bring it to a battlefield to try to douse the opposing team’s kiln. How players craft their pot will determine its play style. These pots are highly customizable, letting players create something truly unique from everyone else.
Here is a description and trailer for Kiln, giving players an idea of what to expect from the party brawler:
“Double Fine Productions presents Kiln, a pottery power-fantasy that celebrates both Creativity and Destruction: the pleasure that comes from both making beautiful things, and then smashing those things to smithereens. Create your pot, grab your friends, and join a team of colorful spirits who face off against one another in online arenas, where the ceramic creations you sculpt on a pottery wheel become the bodies you bring into battle.”
Kiln is available now for PS5 on the PS Store. The Standard Edition is $19.99 and just includes the game. The Deluxe Edition (titled the Fired Up Edition) is $29.99 and comes with several extra goodies. Here is everything included in the Fired Up Edition:

Kiln was surprisingly revealed during the 2026 Xbox Developer Direct in January, which also features Forza Horizon 6, Beast of Reincarnation, and Fable. Along with Kiln, Forza Horizon 6, and Beast of Reincarnation will also release for the PS5, all of which are slated to come out later this year.
Kiln is just one of several Xbox Game Studios-published games that have been released on PS5. The most recent is South of Midnight, the acclaimed action-adventure game from Compulsion Games.
