In case you missed it, Sony has already confirmed a PS Plus Premium game for May 2026 for the PS5 and almost certainly the PS4. Buried in February’s PlayStation State of Play was the announcement of PS1 classic Time Crisis joining the classics lineup this month.
When will May PS Plus game Time Crisis join the catalog?
Time Crisis will be added to PS Plus Premium classics on Tuesday, May 19, along with the rest of the Extra/Premium catalog additions. On the same date, Sony will reveal the next batch of games set to depart the service.
The full lineup will be announced on Wednesday, May 13.
Although Sony has begun focusing on PS5 games, we expect Time Crisis to be ported to the PS4 as well, as has been the case with all classics in the past. Should that change, we’ll make sure to let our readers know.
That said, since this is a Bandai Namco Entertainment title, don’t expect any trophy support. The publisher has skipped the feature for all of its classics thus far, and we don’t expect this to change.
Most recently, Bandai Namco’s Tekken: Dark Resurrection joined the PS Plus Premium classics catalog in March 2026 without any trophies.
Time Crisis will also be available to purchase separately via the PS Store.
