A fantastic 2023 PS5 adventure game that was recently delisted has finally returned to the PS Store. Developed (and now published) by Subcult Joint, Cookie Cutter was delisted from several platforms in April 2026. PS5 players can purchase the game once again, and there’s a surprise in store as well…
PS5 adventure game Cookie Cutter was delisted from PS Store due to a publisher dispute
After Summer 2026, all PS5 copies of Cookie Cutter will automatically be upgraded to the game’s Overkill Edition, which is already out on PC. This version will include additional content and improvements.
As for why Cookie Cutter was delisted in the first place, Subcult Joint was wrestling for control of the IP following a dispute with its previous publisher, Rogue Games. Subcult Joint wasn’t happy with Rogue Games’ decision to offer a 90% discount on Cookie Cutter.
Cookie Cutter currently costs $19.99 on the PS Store.
“This is a great opportunity to support the developers directly,” Subcult Joint said.
Cookie Cutter earned positive reviews from PS5 players. On the PS Store, the game boasts a rating of 4.31/5 stars based on 647 verified votes, which is pretty good for an indie game.
